OPR - Oakajee Port & Rail

GNFL Sponsorship 2012

Oakajee Port and Rail (OPR) is pleased to announce we will once again be the Great Northern Football League’s Gold Sponsor for the 2012 season.

For the fifth consecutive year, OPR’s sponsorship will contribute to the league’s growing football operations, including their bid to reclaim the Landmark Country Week A-Section title in July.

Another major part of OPR’s support is to recognise the role of the league’s talented indigenous players, through a monthly OPR indigenous player profile in the GNFL Football Budget.

“With a focus on showcasing our indigenous players and general sponsorship, OPR is contributing to the future of mid-west football. The funding helps to continue our focus on developing the players of the mid-west,” said GNFL President, Mr Colin Cox.

GNFL Sponsorship 2011

OPR is pleased to continue its support of the Great Northern Football League (GNFL) for the 2011 football season.

For the fourth consecutive year, the OPR sponsorship will help fund a series of skills clinics for the GNFL champions of tomorrow as well as contribute to the league’s re-entry to the elite A-section competition at the Country Week championships in July.

Another major plank of OPR’s support is to recognise the role of the league’s Indigenous players, through a monthly OPR Indigenous player profile in the GNFL Football Budget.

GNFL President Colin Cox said the OPR sponsorship provided a great boost, enhancing all activities of the League and would continue to ensure the League moves forward.

GNFL Sponsorship 2009

The Great Northern Football League welcomed Oakajee Port and Rail's decision to continue as a major sponsor of the League and the 2009 Country Week Championships.

The partnership, which was originally facilitated by Fremantle Football Club as part of its ongoing support to football in the mid-west, builds on OPR's sponsorship of the Fremantle Football Club.

At the GNFL season launch on 23 April 2009 in Geraldton, Mr Paul Kosovich, League President, said "The GNFL welcomes OPR's continuation as a major sponsor of the League and their commitment in the sponsorship is indicative of OPR's desire to become part of the mid-west community".

Fremantle Football Club's Strategic Partnerships Manager Roger Cripps acknowledged the contribution of the Mullewa Football Club at the family fun day.

"I would like to thank Michael Wall and his team at the Mullewa Football Club for putting on a day for the community, and Oakajee Port and Rail for their wonderful support.
