INDIGENOUS RELATIONS

Oakajee Port & Rail aims to make a lasting, positive contribution to mid-west communities, both large and small. We are proud that what we do here rewards everyone – through providing local jobs, encouraging more local spending, promoting new businesses and investment and by supporting local community groups and activities.

One of OPR’s key goals is to form meaningful partnerships with indigenous communities and organisations that will benefit us all. Our relationships are creating a solid foundation on which to develop strategies and achieve identified targets in partnerships with local communities. OPR aims to deliver long term sustainable benefits in the communities in which we operate. We are committed to improving cross-cultural understanding and promoting mutual respect.

OPR plans to play a big part in the development of Western Australia's mid-west, and we believe together, we can create a better future for everyone. We look forward to building on our current relationships with the Indigenous community.
